Christian Camargo is an American actor who rose to fame with his portrayal of Brian Moser in the first two seasons of blockbuster Showtime drama Dexter. He reprised his role in the 2011 season of Dexter. Christian is also known for his performance as Eleazar in the last two installments of the Twilight films, Breaking Dawn Part 1 & Part 2.

Christian Camargo has been a stage actor prior to embarking on a career in films and television. He graduated from Juilliard School of Drama in New York. Soon after his graduation, Christian starred in Skylight, a Broadway production of David Hare that also starred Michael Gambon. Following his debut on Broadway, he went over to England and joined the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. However, he continued featuring in plays at various New York theaters. He starred in the Public Theater’s Kit Marlowe, Steve Martin’s Underpants at Classic Stage Company and played the lead role in Coriolanus produced by the Theater for a New Audience’s Coriolanus. In 2008, Christian starred with Dianne Wiest, Katie Holmes and John Lithgow in All My Sons directed by Arthur Miller, which staged on Broadway. He also played the title role of Hamlet in 2009 for which he bagged an Obie Award and also grabbed a nomination of Drama League. Christian continued playing Shakespearean characters, Orlando in As You Like It and Ariel in The Tempest, which was both directed by acclaimed filmmaker and theater director Sam Mendes.

Christian has been the ambassador of Fast Ashley’s, which is a car company specializing in vintage and customized cars. He portrayed one of the most disliked men in American history, the character of John Wilkes Booth, in Nicolas Cage film National Treasure: Book of Secrets.
