Desmond Harrington has been one of the fast growing actors who gain a lot of popularity. He is an American actor, who has been recognized for the movies he participated on, such as Wrong Turn, Ghost Ship and The Hole. Desmond has joined the members of the cast on TV series Dexter from Showtime. He participated in the program on its 3rd season for the role of Detective Joseph Quinn.

Desmond comes from Savannah, Georgia. The very first role he played was the role of Aulon in The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc by Luc Besson. After this role, he grabbed major role in popular movies, namely Wrong Turn, Ghost Ship and The Hole. He also participated in the sci-fi drama entitled Taken by Steven Spielberg from which he played the role of Jesse Keys, being the aliens’ abductee.

Desmond has joined Dexter TV show in September 2008. During December 2008, he also played as a guest for a role of Jack Bass on Gossip Girl. He refreshed his role once again by having guest appearances in the third season of the TV show. In January 2012, a report stated that Desmond will go back to Gossip Girl on its “last third of the season.” Within the similar month, he created another guest appearance on the third season debut of Justified from which he played being Fletcher in “‘The Ice Pick’ Nix.” He played another small role being a police officer in The Dark Knight Rises. He is the police who try stopping John Blake from leaving Gotham through the Bridge. His character provides the command of blowing up a certain section on such bridge when John Blake did not obey and turn back.

Desmond Harrington has already participated in a number of movies. During the year 1999, he appeared on The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc. In 2000, he also appeared in Drop Back Ten and Massholes. In the following years, he played roles in The Hole, Riding in Cars with Boys, My First Mister, Ghost Ship, Life Makes Sense If You’re Famous, Wrong Turn, We Were Soldiers, and considerably a lot more. With the dedication he made on every project he participated on, Desmond is now making a solid name in the acting industry. So, people will expect him to appear in many other upcoming films and TV series. Over the past few years, Desmond has participated in comedies and drama alike from which he has always offered the goods.
