Christopher Kit Harington, a renowned English actor, was born on December 26, 1986. He received praise and commendation due to his portrayal of the character Jon Snow, the leading role in the well-known HBO TV series “The Game of Thrones.” Prior to this, he had many roles that included the character of Albert in “War Horse” (2008), a West End Production novel.
Christopher Kit Harington grew up in England and lived in London until he reached the age of 11. His parents are Deborah Jane Catesby and David Richard Harington. He is a successor of the former Norman King of England Hugh Capet’s William the Conqueror, the first emperor of the Holy Roman and the primary King of the Franks as well as Charlemagne. Christopher Kit Harington is the successor of Lavender Cecilia Denny, his paternal great grandmother and Richard Harington is his paternal great grandfather, the twelfth Baronet Harington. Sir Nicholas John Harington is Kit Harington’s uncle who happens to be the fourteenth Baronet Harington. By his father, Kit Harington is the successor of Henry Dundas who is a politician, first Viscount Melville, T.A Denny bacon merchant, Baptist Wriothesley, a clergyman, Peter Baillie, politician and merchant, William Legge, peer and sixth Baronet MP William Molesworth and fourth Earl of Dartmouth.
From the year 1992 up to 1998, Christopher Kit Harington attended his elementary days in South Primary School. He went on to Chantry High School and finished his study in the year 2003. He went to Worcester Sixth Form College where he earned a degree in Drama and Theater studies. In 2008, Christopher Kit Harington finished his drama lessons at Central School of Speech and Drama.
From year 2011 until now, Kit Harington portrays the role of Jon Snow in the HBO TV series Game of Thrones where he previously did 22 episodes. He also had an appearance in the 2012 3D movie entitled “Silent Hill: Revelation” where he played the role of Vincent. He also appears as Billy Bradley in “The Seventh Son” (2013). He will also have a role in Greenland and Milo in Pompeii, which will be released next year. Christopher Kit Harington is confirmed to play the villain character in “How to Train Dragon II,” which will be released soon.
Before he conquered the world of movies and televisions, Christopher Kit Harington played various roles in theaters. From 2008 to 2009, he played Albert Narracot in War Horse where he is known for his performances that are beyond doubt. This was his stepping stone to stardom. He also played the role of Ed Montgomery in “Posh” (2010), performed at the renowned Royal Court Theatre.
