He was awarded with Best Supporting Actor in the Golden Globe and Emmy Award, two of the most prestigious award bodies because of his remarkable role in George R.R Martins novel series “A Song of Ice and Rain.”

Born and raised by loving parents, Diane, a music teacher and John Carl Dinklage in Morristown, New Jersey. Peter was born with achondroplasia, which is a common reason of dwarfism. Peter spent his childhood in Mendham Township, New Jersey. His German relatives were associated with Von Dinklage, a Westphaloian noble family. He graduated in 1987 at the Morristown Debarton School and in 1991; he finished school at Bennington College.

Prior to these achievements, Peter Dinklage did some movies back in 1995, in the cult art house movie “Living in Oblivion,” where he played a bothered dwarf actor complaining about his clichéd portion. The 2003 movie “The Station Agent” was his breakout film role. For that, he gained Best Actor nominations on the Screen Actor Guild and Independent Spirit Award. In the same year, Peter appeared in the film “Tiptoes” along with Gary Oldman. Moreover, he also starred many times in Broadway productions.

In 2012, Peter Dinklage dubbed Captain Gutt in the cartoon movie “Ice Age: Continental Drift.” Bryan Singer broadcasted last February that Peter Dinklage would play an unnamed villain role in the new X-Men movie “Days of Future Past.” In the Bungies’s video game “Destiny” that will be released next year, Peter will also do a voice ghost.

In Peter’s interview, in 2003, one reporter asked about his height and he replied, “When I was younger, definitely, I let it get to me. As an adolescent, I was bitter and angry, and I definitely put up these walls. But the older you get, you realize you just have to have a sense of humor. You just know that it’s not your problem. It’s theirs.”

Now, Peter is living happily in upstate New York with his loving wife and gorgeous daughter.
