Preston Bailey

Preston Bailey is an American child actor who is best known for being cast in the television drama series “Dexter.” He started acting at the age of 2 and starred in movies such as “Children of the Corn,” “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” and “The Crazies.”

Bailey was born on July 25, 2000 in Portland, Oregon, but moved to California at the age of 5. He is the younger brother of actor Brennan Bailey. He started his acting career on national television commercials such as Stouffer’s, Priceline.com, Clorox, Juicy Juice, Mucinex and BMW. In 2005, he guest starred in the medical drama “Strong Medicine” where he played the role of Dougie Nauls. He was also part of the cast of several television shows such as “Criminal Minds,” “How I Met Your Mother,” and “Numb3rs.”

Bailey is one of the youngest actors ever nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award when he joined the cast of Showtime’s TV series “Dexter.” He is also nominated for Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a TV Series two consecutive years for the same show. In addition to this, he received several other awards and recognitions. In 2012, he won the Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a Feature Film- Young Ensemble Cast for “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.”

He was also nominated for Best Performance in a Feature Film Ten and Under for the same project. Bailey also received recognitions from his other projects such as “The Crazies” and “Cold Case.” He also starred in several films such as “Alpha Mom,” “Seven Years,” “Nothing but the Truth,” “Kay,” “Amusement,” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” He was also part of the cast of “Eagleheart,” “Adalyn,” “Funny or Die Presents,” “Whoop Ass,” and “The Apologist.”
