Sean Patrick Flanery is an American actor who was born on October 11, 1965 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to a real estate mother and a medical equipment salesman father. Flanery has English, Irish, and Cajun ancestry. For his education, he attended Awty International School, Dulles High School in Sugar Land, and the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. Flanery is known for his roles in the films “The Boondock Saints,” “Powder,” and “Saw 3D” as well as in the TV series “The Dead Zone,” “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” and “The Young and the Restless.”

In his desire to meet a girl whom she had a crush on, Flanery joined an acting class while he was in college. He then moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue his acting career where he landed small roles in made-for-television films. With his enthusiasm and good looks, Flanery has been chosen by George Lucas to portray the role of Indiana Jones in “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.” Unfortunately, the series was cancelled after one season. But, Flanery reprised his role in various direct-to-video installments and made-for-TV such as “Treasure of the Peacock’s Eye,” “Travels with Father,” “Daredevils of the Desert,” “Love’s Sweet Song,” and “Winds of Change.”

He branched out from playing Indiana Jones when he portrayed as King Arthur in “Guinevere” and as Zack Murphy in “Frank & Jesse.” However, despite having a promising start in his career, Flanery has difficulty maintaining his professional momentum. As a result, he began portraying lower-profile roles such as the ones in “Suicide Kings,” “Girl,” and “Zack and Reba” as well as in the films “D-Tox,” “Lone Hero,” and “Kiss the Bride.”

In 2009, Flanery starred in the films “Deadly Impact,” “The Whole Truth,” and “Sinners & Saints.” He also reprised his role as vigilant Connor McManus in the 2009 sequel of The Boondock Saints entitled “The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.” He appeared in the music video “Howlin’ For You,” by The Black Keys that was released in February 10, 2011. He also starred in the installment of “Masters of Horror” in Showtime. Aside from films, Flanery will also be appearing the 8th season of the serial killer drama “Dexter.”

Meanwhile, Flanery is a black belter in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Karate. He also won the Toyota Pro-Celebrity Race in 1997 that was held in Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The following year, he won the race as a professional driver.
