Laura Marano

Laura Marano was born on November 29, 1995 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Her actual name is Laura Marie Marano. She started her acting when she was five years old. She performed in plays including “Agoura Children’s Theatre” and her beauty helped her feature in numerous national commercials.

Aside from being an actress, she went to school and played sports like soccer. She also loves to play piano, sing, and dance. She loves to perform tap dancing where right timing and skills are necessary. She also devotes her spare time writing songs.  She was able to write more than 100 songs.

Reading is one of her passions. Marano has read the Harry Potter series and William Shakespeare’s greatest novels such as “King’s Lears”. Traveling is one of her hobbies. She has been to Europe three times. She prefers to live with her family in Los Angeles and go to a private school. She prioritizes her education and gives prior attention to her studies. She actively participates in debate and is great in speech class. She involved herself in drama where she is more comfortable in acting and portraying role is her passion. Marano is 5’2” in height and has a slim body.

Marano portrays the role of Ally Dawson in the Disney Channel TV Show “Austin and Ally”. She also has a guest star role in “Heroes”, “Children’s Hospital”, “Flash Forward”, “True Jackson, VP”, “Ghost Whisperer”, “Little Monk”, “Medical Investigation”, “Huff,” and “Joan of Arcadia.”

One of her first movies was produced by actor George Clooney, titled “The Jacket”.  She has worked with an Oscar Winning actor Adrein Brody. This only manifests that she works professionally and diversify herself to different actors and actresses. She has dubbed in animated movies such as “Finding Nemo” and “Ice Age: The Meltdown.” Known as a great actress, she was recalled to perform in the Nickelodeon shows, “The X’s” and “Ni Hao Kai-Lan.” Some popular TV show roles that she has are “Without a Trace” where she played the role as Kate,  Young Debra in the Showtime TV show “Dexter” and Young Sarah Silverman in “The Sarah Silverman Program.”

She also performed on the show that has high rankings over other TV shows, “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader,” where she was in the fifth grade at that time. She also portrays the role of Gracie Carr in the TV series “Back to You.” She was able to combine her acting career without affecting his studies.
