New Show On TV
Kris Jenner stopped by Access Hollywood Live earlier today, where the reality TV star dished on everything from her new talk show, Bruce Jenner’s (Kris’ husband) alone time at their beach house, the future of her current reality show “Keeping Up with the Kardashian,” and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s new baby.
Here is what Kris Jenner had to say:
How will Kris Jenner’s daytime talk show “Kris” stand out from other TV competitors? : “It is fashion and fitness and beauty and cooking and food and just all sorts of stuff, along with a lot of pop culture. And I am going to have a different co-host every single day……It is more lifestyle related than just pure celebrity talk show…….I think it is going to be fun to show people the things that I am interested in.” Kris Jenner’s show “Kris” will premiere on July 15th 2013.
Kris explains the reason why her husband, Bruce Jenner spent some time away from the family at their beach house: “We got a place out at the beach for him to get away a little bit because it does get a little congested in my house. After twenty-three years, it is amazing to have a little bit of space. So it is kind of fun. He sleeps at home.”
Kris’ feeling about Lamar Odom and Scott Disick: “Scott is amazing. We were like oil and water in the beginning. I did not like him……..I just did not understand him and now he is grown up and the minute he had kids, Scott became this amazing dad and he just turned into one of my favorite people. We hang out, just to go hang out……we have like little dates. I think Scott would love to get married. I do not want to speak for them, but I will, I do not think Kourtney is as into it as I thought she would be. She is just sort of free spirit……And Lamar, oh my god, Lamar Odom, he is delish!”
In regard to how long “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” will go on for? : “When it is not fun anymore or when we are not happy, then you are like, ‘Maybe it is time.’ But, we are having such a good time, all of us. And when we are not doing it, we miss it.”
On Kanye and Kim naming their daughter North West: “I was kind of expecting something a little different because I know the two of them and I knew they would pick something unique. She explained to me, ‘North means the highest power,’ so, they said north is their highest point together…….I think they chose North West together.”
On Kanye and Kim’s courtship: “There was just a really nice friendship and a bond there for sure……He is amazing, he is really cool guy. He is a softie.”
We do not know whether Kris Jenner will reveal any baby photos of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter on her new talk show “Kris”: “I do not think we have made any kind of decision right this second. She is just over a week old, there is no plan…..just right now it is about them being happy and at home and doing fine and resting.”
Did Kanye West and Kim Kardashian make employees at the hospital sign non-disclosure (NDA) forms?: “No, I do not think so. We were just out of the way. Totally out of the way.”
In regard to Kris relationship with Kanye: “He is just a big teddy bear…….We get along really good like we always have. I have known him for a really long time. He has been a really close friend of the family, ten years maybe. I met him through the kids. I would talk to him on the phone, lots over the years.”
Kris Jenner embarrassing cell phone incident with Kanye West: “My ringtone is ‘Gold Digger.’ That is my secret of the day! The other day the phone rang and he was standing there, and it was like, ‘a Gold Digger!’ I am just like, ‘This is so embarrassing!’ It was funny.”
